The latest paper from LNM’s ARC funded research project into schools and digital technology has just been published in Surveillance & Society. Titled ‘Post-panoptic pedagogies: The changing nature of school surveillance in the digital age‘, the article focuses on the everyday conditions of surveillance in contemporary school contexts. Three different modes of surveillance are examined: CCTV, mobile phones, and e-learning and content management platforms. The article is authored by Selena Nemorin, following on from her 2016 conference presentation on the same topic in Barcelona.
